The equipment engineer will be responsible for Engineering cell site equipment for macro cell sites in the Pacific Northwest market.

Specific responsibilities include:

Review engineering designs to ensure they meet Telecommunication standards, Request purchase orders and place equipment orders with various vendors, Track and forecast order and delivery dates, Track all capital budget needed to complete all equipment orders for each year s plan of record, Monitor all equipment expenditures.

Equipment Procurement & Optimization-

Ensure optimum equipment utilization and efficiency.

Oversee equipment move between project to expedite installation and acceptance.

Project Management-

Design, procure equipment, and manage material requests to various project types.

Aid in design, procure equipment.

The candidate must have experience with cellular site designs in Ericsson markets.

Familiar with RF design of radios and baseband units with various types of antennas.

Must have experience and proficiency in spreadsheet formulations.

Must be self-motivated and can complete tasks with little supervision.

Must have excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.

Experience in reporting, managing budgets, and using financial tools are a plus.

B.S. Degree or previous experience with cell site equipment engineering.
