General Purpose and Scope of Position:

We are looking for a talented Technical Software Program Manager who shares our passion for building innovative products to solve complex problems in the agriculture domain. The position will report to the Principal PM Manager.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

  • BS. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of building features for a software product or program is a must
  • Strong product, technology, and customer focus
  • Passionate about user experience (UX)
  • Strong communication, organization, and management skills
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in software development processes and Agile
  • Experience in collaboration with external technology partners

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

  • Identify customer needs, articulate problem statements, dig into data, propose effective solutions
  • Manage the development of software features and projects
  • Design software solutions/features to problems
  • Focus on user experience (UX) and create mockups/sketches
  • Work with teams to identify solutions to overcome roadblocks and mitigate risks
  • Create Jira stories/specifications for the engineering teams for various features
  • Participate in technical discussions about feature design and implementation
  • Make sure the projects are on track and identify any bottlenecks and risks
  • Report progress and status of projects
  • Discover and articulate technical requirements and dependencies
  • Develop and optimize training plans and evangelize the product
  • Coordinate the release of the software and keep a pulse on customer issues
  • Participate in optimizing the software development process

Compensation and Benefits:

    • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $73,800 - $93,400. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
