Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Instrumentation Engineer, we'll count on you to:

* Independently coordinate the work of the instrumentation and controls (I&C) design team through the design development and contract document phases of a project, and assist with capturing additional I&C design and systems integration work

* Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance

* Coordinate workload through design development and construction document phases to complete the documents on schedule

* Conduct systems integration of the I&C system, including programming of PLCs/PCs and HMI customizing for various control software programs

* Write and edit I&C specifications, and select equipment and monitoring/control devices

* Review electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines

* Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents

* Provide construction contract administration as needed

* Conduct QA/QC on the work of other I&C Project Engineers, I&C Project Coordinators or I&C Technicians as needed

* Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

* Minimum of 10 years applicable experience

* PE

* Demonstrated leadership and project management skills

* PLC/WTP and WWTP software programming

* Experience designing I and C Systems, including schematics and loops

* Experience managing I and C projects

* Knowledge of Modicon, Wonderware and Interlution

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

* Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential

* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications
*Previous work experience with an A&E/Consulting Engineering firm
*Experience utilizing AutoCAD, Plant3D, or REVIT for design document generation
*Design or commissioning experience in Data Center Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS), PLC-based Building Management Systems (BMS), and/or Direct Digital Control Building Automation Systems (DDC BAS)

The expected compensation range for this position is $117,369 - $167,670 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
