Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job overview:

Schneider is seeking an Operations Representative in Savannah to act as a liaison between carriers, operations and customer service. The Operations Representative will execute daily operational processes that ensure high-quality service is delivered and the needs of customers are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive working relationships with carriers.
  • Match available capacity to customer delivery needs.
  • Use planning processes and decision-making tools to develop optimal plans.
  • Monitor equipment usage.
  • Resolve problems related to freight imbalances, changes in operations and overall market disruptions.

Skills and qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft systems.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Outstanding project management skills.
