We have an immediate opening for a Lead OT Cybersecurity Engineer to assess, improve, and maintain the cybersecurity posture of Air Products Operational Technology (OT) environment including Industrial Control Systems and Building Automation Systems, and Factory Automation systems.


This position can be located at our new company headquarters in Allentown, PA or our Houston, TX office.

Essential Functions:
  • Plan, design, and implement, OT cybersecurity protection solutions.

  • Act as an OT Security Solution Architect for new and existing plant construction projects.

  • Lead the development and maintenance of OT System Security Plans (SSPs)

  • Perform engineering, design, and implementation of OT security solutions and products, including architecture reviews, vendor engagement, product evaluation, implementation, configuration, and testing.

  • Provide engineering support, product management, lifecycle management, and solution architecture for OT security capabilities such as network security, threat and anomaly detection, vulnerability management, endpoint detection and response.

  • Review administrative, technical, and physical security controls and provide recommendations to mitigate identified security risks.

  • Build detailed documentation including diagrams, procedures, and plans (e.g. Security Solution Architectures)

  • Participate in OT Cybersecurity Incident Investigations

  • Travel to Air Products facilities with OT systems as required.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar), Computer Science, or similar scientific / technical field.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks for ICS/OT environments (ISA-99/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, CIS, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of OT network communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, CIP, Modbus, OPC, etc.) and industrial networking topologies.

  • A minimum of three years' experience designing and implementing ICS/OT systems.

  • OT/ICS cybersecurity relevant accreditations such as GISCP, Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA), ISA/IEC62443 cybersecurity certificates are preferred.

  • A positive attitude, strong analytic skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams and world-wide peers collaboratively.

  • Self-motivated, driven to learn.

Work Hours & Benefits:

Typical work week is 40 hours. Travel to Air Products facilities with OT systems as required. This possible requires up to 10% domestic and international travel. The work environment is diverse from an office setting to onsite at Air Products operating facilities.
