Within Azure Data, the messaging and real-time analytics team provides comprehensive solutions and a robust platform that enables users to ingest high granularity signals (real-time & observability) and complex data, converting those into a advantage in real-time for both end users and modern applications. We're in search of a Principal Software Engineer to take on projects and lead enhancements to the core technology driving stream processing. We're looking for a hands-on developer with expertise in many aspects of high throughput and multi-tenant services, ability to design componentscarefully, properly handle errors, write clean and well-factored code with good tests and good maintainability. In this role, you'll have the autonomy to make strategic decisions that shape our product direction and drive significant improvements. Our goal is to simplify the use of real-time analytics at any scale and seamlessly integrate them into end-to-end analytics pipelines, allowing our customers to focus on their business logic without worrying about managing the underlying compute infrastructure. Breaks down long-term project vision into milestones as part of an overall roadmap. Review and contribute to the specifications and implementations written by other team members. Proactively seeks new information and adjust to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance while also driving monitoring improvements and operations at scale.
