This is a Senior Engineer RF IV position; candidate will be responsible for overseeing the analysis and enhancement of wireless telecommunications networks. These include existing and planned networks for cellular and digital mobile phone and data transmission networks.

Candidate should have -

Proven knowledge and experience of electromagnetic theory, antenna theory, radio propagation, core network level functionality, GSM / GPRS / EDGE / UMTS /HSPA air interfaces and call processing.

System dimensioning for coverage and capacity including traffic analysis, initial system design and dimensioning, RF shapping, interference analysis and link budgets,

Ability to produce measurable results within a complex multi-tasking, rapidly changing work environment and can work independently with little guidance.Candidate will act as a mentor to RF engineers by providing guidance and training

Understanding of system KPIs and metrics related to wireless systems and equipment knowledge.

Candidate must have thorough understanding of various RF air interface technologies.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong software skills, including MS Excel, MS Access,SQL and Statistical analysis

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications -

* BS in Electronics and telecommunication or equivalent, 5 years of experience in GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS technologies.

* GSM/GPRS/EDGE -Nokia ,UMTS/HSDPA - Lucent,Post processing tools -Actix,TEMS,Probe,NEMO analyzer

* RF propagation tool - ATOLL,ACP. Understanding of IP, ATM and LTE techology

* Mapinfo mapping tool

* Driving record is within company compliance.
